Fixing Frederick Felines

The goal of “Fixing Frederick Felines” is to reduce the number of free-roaming cats in Frederick County by using an established method called “Trap, Neuter, and Return” (TNR). This method reduce the number of unwanted litter of kittens and to improve the overall health and welfare of County farm/feral cats

TNR includes humanely trapping free-roaming cats, transporting them to veterinarians for spaying/neutering and vaccinations, assisting with litters of kittens that may be eligible for adoption if appropriate, and releasing back into their original habitat cats who are too wild for human contact.
